Sarah and Jake

The lovely Sarah and Jake had a unique and quirky theme to their wedding, they LOVE peacock feathers and wanted them to run through the flowers. Sarah wanted her bouquet to be made from bold, rich colours that matched the shades of the peacock feathers that were also included in the bouquet.

Flowers such as lisianthus, delphiniums, lilac roses, veronica, hydrangea, viburnum berries and vanda orchids featured in the bouquet with the feathers peeking out amongst the flowers. Jake’s buttonhole was gypsophila clustered together with ‘petrol’ blue viburnum berries and backed with a peacock feather. The other groomsmen had very simple buttonholes which were gyp clustered together with viburnum berries, to bring through the beautiful deep, petrol blue colour.

The two flower-girls had cute wands made from hydrangeas, veronica, lilac roses, viburnum berries, vanda orchids and flowing eucalyptus foliages, they were finished with trailing shimmery ribbons in deep purples, blues and aqua – to match the ties! The reception was at The Assembly House, Sarah and Jake had their own birdcages that were dressed simply with gypsophila, with a couple of vanda orchids and finished with drifts of scattered lilac petals.
