Sophie and Will 18th August 2018 at Holkham Hall

Sophie and Will got married on the 18th August, with both the ceremony and reception both taking place at Holkham Hall, the ceremony took place in The Marble Hall with the reception being held in The Lady Elizabeth Wing. The colour scheme was pale pinks and neutrals, Sophie wanted her bouquet to be opulent, the flowers were massed together creating a stunning, compact style. The posy was full of beautiful blowsy blooms, to include highly scented pale pink ‘Garden O’Hara’ and ‘Miranda’ David Austin roses, some palest blush ‘Bombastic’ spray roses, ivory ‘Avalanche’ roses, white ‘Calla Lilies’, fluffy white ‘Gyp’ nestled in amongst the other blooms and chalk white ‘Majolica’ spray roses hits of palest blue eucalyptus foliages were mixed throughout the flowers to soften the style. The bridesmaids bouquet were a smaller, simpler version than the bridal bouquet linking in beautifully with their full sequin rose gold dresses. The buttonholes were simple warm champagne toned ‘Vendella’ rose cuddled together with palest powder blue toned eucalyptus and olive foliages nestled in at the base of the rose, for a sophisticated look. The ceremony took place in the Marble Hall, with the staircase decorated with arrangements running down each side, flowers includind blowsy roses, hydrangeas, sweet scented stocks and fluffy gyp, mixed in with foliages. At the start of the aisle was a free-standing archway covered in mixed foliages with clusters of flowers dotted throughout creating a gorgeous, romantic style, flowers such as gyp, stocks, mass petalled roses and hydrangea clusters, this made the most amazing welcome as Sophie and Will’s guests arrived. The side of the chairs then had a single hydrangea tied on with trailing ribbons, alternating between pale pink and white, these were taken off and taken over to The Lady Elizabeth Wing along with the archway and the staircase arrangements. The archway was placed at the entrance to The Lady Elizabeth wing to greet the guests as they make their way over from The Marble Hall, with the staircase arrangements placed around the base making a more impressive, striking design. The guest tables were tall, high impact flower balls made on hired glass vases, the arrangements had lots of mixed foliages worked amongst the blooms and left to creep out creating a loose, romantic look, flowers including lots of fluffy gyp, sweet scented stocks, large headed hydrangeas, spray roses and lots of big blowsy roses. The top table had a luxurious long and low design full of big blowsy blooms nestled tightly together creating an opulent style, some delicate orchids were threaded onto grass and left to cascade down adding an extra special touch.
